In the 1960s the brochure designs became quite a lot colourful and eye-catching. With much-advanced technology, the printing techniques were improved increasing the price as well. That was the era of colourful photography. It was the period when coloured print and photography became possible.
1970s Brochure Design
The 1970s is the most important period in the history of brochure design. It saw the level-up development in colourful photography. Illustrations were still in the use, but photography and printing became a lot advanced to make brochures photo-centric. But still, the brochure designers of 1970s were not able to layout their concept and place elements by hand. The graphic design process required a lot of editing for the perfection. A new software was invented that allowed limitless modification to the graphics. So, everything changed.

In the modern period, the brochure design service has seen several changes. From the early days, graphic design has always been done with the help of computers. But the concept and ideas which the designer possesses have always been woven on the sheet of paper and pen. But it is just that, with the help of computers the designer can create the several and different version of their concept. About the use of colours, it has become quite clear. And photography is way advanced in modern brochure designs.
